Fourth Annual Blue Steel Challenge

Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi is proud to announce the winners of the 2007 Blue Steel Challenge.

The 2007 Blue Steel Challenge was held on September 15 at the North Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. The shooting event was open to sworn law enforcement personnel that wished to support the local efforts of Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi. The event was hosted by area businesses and law enforcement agencies.

The winner of the overall individual shooting event was Jimmy McCarty with the United States Air Force and runner-up was John Hillhouse representing the Mississippi Bureau of Investigations. The winners of the team shooting event were Ross Davis and Mark Blackson of the Desoto County Sheriff’s Office along with Amie Ruffin, Mississippi Department of Corrections.
